Chandigarh : To encourage healthy eating among the children ‘Master Chef’ competition was held at Manav Mangal High School, Sector 21-C, Chandigarh. Students of Classes I-X very enthusiastically participated in it. A variety of salads and sandwiches was prepared by them. Vegetables & fruits were the main ingredients used for making sandwiches.
They very well displayed their creativity in cutting vegetables for salad making. The basic idea of holding such like competitions could be served as the students were found to be very creative in their attempts – not only in making the salads and sandwiches but also in displaying them .In fact , many students had practiced for days to ensure that it becomes a real learning process for them .
