Chandigarh : Indian Sanskriti has been based on Scientific traditions and techniques since ages, but it is our affliction that most of the modern generation has been unaware of this fact said, Prof B.K. Kuthiala, Chairman, Haryana State Higher Education Council, in a special lecture at Panjab University, Chandigarh organised by PUCSC.
The lecture was part of a series started by the joint secretary of PUCSC Vipul Atray, and organised at UIET seminar Hall in presence of Dr S. K JHA, DUI, PU as Chief Guest.of the lecture. In the lecture hundreds of students from various departments of PU specially UIET were present along with many teachers and professors. Prof Kuthiala very aptly put light on great legacy of Indian civilization and Sanskriti in terms of Scientific traditions and techniques quoting many Vedas and ancient slogans including PU anthems term ‘Tamso Maa Jyotirgamaya’.
He illustrate many of our values, traditions and rites which have logical and Scientific relevance and are the foundation of whole human civilisation. Prof Kuthiala urged the young generation to have proud on our culture and study and research on it. He assured the young generation that if they study Indian civilisation and explore related books in light of science and logic, they will find that we are the best as harmony and parity with environment and nature is the hallmark of our civilisation. He said that Sanskrit language is the key to rich and precious wealth of our great Scientific Sanskriti and civilization. In the lecture Dr Harish Kumar, coordinator EEE, Uiet, Dr Amit Chauhan, assistant professor mechanical were also present.
