Chandigarh : NIESBUD is an apex body under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India for coordinating and overseeing the activities of various institutions/ agencies engaged in entrepreneurship development particularly in the area of small industry and small business. Mr Sunil Taneja , Programme Coordinator and Mr Uppal, Guest faculty for the Programme visited KV Sec 31 , Chandigarh along with a group of 38 participants from 16 different countries -Sudan, Geogia, Bahrain, Togo, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Colombia, Liberia, Tajikistan, New Guinea, Myanmar, Mauritius, South Africa , Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Samoa, Dr Congo attending International prgramme on Women Empowerment through Enterprise Development which commenced on 29th Nov 2011 and will be concluded on 20th Jan 2012, as an integral part of their training programme they visited the Vidyalaya to expose the participants to varied Indian experiences in the field of Enterprise Development and to explore the Indian Culture
After a warm welcome by tiny tots dressed as farm animals, German language students and members of Student’s council, there was a cultural show depicting the different vistas of Indian achievers and folk dances. The delegates enjoyed the beat of dhol and perform Bhangra with the students. The whole atmosphere was charged with feeling of brotherhood and it seemed that mini world has come under one roof. Their love for Indian culture is really admirable. The delegates thanked Mr M S Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, KVS (RO) Chandigarh for arranging a colourful and memorable visit to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 31, Chandigarh.
