By Ramesh K Dhiman , Chandigarh, May 17 – EDU Counsels, city’s one of the fastest emerging career counseling destination unveiled its innovative initiative at a press meet at Chandigarh Press Club here today. The initiative brought forth the whole new concept of career counseling, which lay beyond the traditional psychometric analysis norm. The first of its kind concept in the country, it offered varied options to the students identify their worth, strength and potential, guided by their aspirations and aptitude and choose career.

In his address, Dr SL Joshi, a senior member at EDU Counsels faculty, laid emphasis on the unique features of the initiative catering to the large section of beneficiaries. He said “EDU Counsels is a one-stop career counseling destination with a vision to replicate the Australian model under the guidance of a highly professional faculty on the basis of identifying their true potential of the child, given the strength, aptitude and personality of the child.”
The chief guest, Mr Arun Sood, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, said,” With the rise of competition in both academic and professional worlds and myriad of lucrative career options worldwide, it has become imperative for students to seek career counseling, without any pressure from their parents and peer group.
