New academic session of Desh Bhagat University started with induction programmes. There was a 11 Kundi Havan in the newly established building of University Students Centre. More than 2500 of students, all the members of the teaching and non teaching staff participated in the Havan with religious fervour and devotion. On this occasion, students were made to chant Vedic Mantras and practise Yoga, for spiritual purification and mental elevation. The students enjoyed the activity very much and felt very happy.
Vice Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. S.S. Chahal said that they will do their best for the overall development of the university so that our students become not only time-relevant and market- relevant but also highly responsible citizens of the country. Pro Vice Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. Shalini Gupta conveyed her best wishes to the students and staff members. She said that all the staff members deserve applause and appreciation but they will have to continue to work hard in future as well.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor and Pro Chancellor Tajinder Kaur of Desh Bhagat University, greeted the whole staff saying that they have been doing excellent work for which they deserve all praise and it is as a result of their hard work, devotion to duty and sense of commitment that Desh Bhagat University has attained a marked identity.
