Desh Bhagat University organised a mega Job Fest, ‘Visionzz-16’ at Ludhiana.Dr. Zora Singh congratulated the shortlisted students and advised them to work with full dedication and prove assets for the organisations in which they are going to get jobs.While informing about Fest, University Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta said that the job fest was targeted at the students of various streams of ITI, Diploma Holders, Undergraduates, Graduates and Post-Graduates. This job fest was organised in collaboration with District Bureau of Employment Generation and Training. More than a dozen prominent companies of India including Hero Cycles, R.N. Gupta & Co., Aarti International, Meera & Company Ltd., PCL Ludhiana, New Swan, Metro Tyres, Yerik International, R.S Auto Industries, LSR Group, Nicks India, Surindra Cycle, Amit Fastners, HDFC Life, Yerik International , DHFL Premerica , Radiant Toyota etc. participated in this Job Fest. Officers of these and many other companies selected suitable candidates for different jobs. Mr. V. K. Khurana, Vice President, Ralson India Limited was the Guest of Honour on this occasion. The fest was attended by more than 250 job aspirants of the region and 152 candidates were shortlisted by the companies.
University Vice Chancellor, Dr. S.S. Chahal wished the selected students bright careers and said that Desh Bhagat University organises such job fairs not only for its own students but for the students of the whole North India. She hoped that this job fair will prove a blessing for the students who participated in it. Director (IPD) of Desh Bhagat University, Mr. Chetan Gupta said that the University organises such Mega Fairs from time to time and this is the 16th Mega Fair to be organised. This fair provided an opportunity to deserving students to get jobs in companies of national as well as international repute. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor, Students, who were selected, appreciated the efforts of the Desh Bhagat University as they felt that they could have never got such a job through their own resources. They also said that the event was very well organised.
