Images 2013, the two day annual – exhibition of the blooming artists of manav mangal high school, Sector 21-C, Chandigarh was put on display at the school premises. The exhibits revealed the toil of the young ones and their teachers. They succeeded in showing their talent, skill and creativity in a very innovative style. Colourful decoration of the school added to the glitter of the event.
Realising the crime against women on rise these days, through the Project Salute to Nirbhaya, the senior students inspired all the spectators to pledge to honour every girl or woman, treat her with dignity and give her an equal status in society. The exhibits really made everyone realize that a woman needs to be shown love and compassion. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam An Inspiring Genius, another project by senior wing motivated all the visitors to work hard to reach the goal of their lives. Besides hard work, honesty, self discipline, faith in goodness and deep kindness are the mantras of success in life.
Junior wing came forward with the project, A glimpse of Antarctica. They made all the lookers feel cold as there was ice, ice & ice everywhere with no glimpse of human life & vegetation at all. Dance is an expression of untold happiness of inner soul and personification of our real self. Various dance forms appear to be different but the truth is they all are inter-related. Every dance makes the dancer experience the bliss which is unearthly. Dance not only gives joy but also heals the injuries and makes a person forget his sorrows and miseries. This is what the children conveyed through JOVIAL JIGGS. Eat Healthy stay Healthy – a project by primary section conveyed to one and all that they should keep away from fast food as it has no nutritional value and moreover they make us suffer from various diseases like obesity, tooth decay etc. In their own way they urged everyone to have healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables to lead a full life. Through the project, Reduce, Recycle and Reuse, primary children conveyed a very clear message that if we reuse and recycle the discarded things we will save energy, reduce waste and help in the economy of the country. Martial Art Forms like Kungfu, Karate, Gatka and Taekwondo are not only used for self protection but also inculcate values like perseverance, self discipline in us. Apart from forming our character, they also keep us in shape and size. Keeping in view all these benefits of Martial Art Forms, senior students motivated everyone to make them a part of their daily routine.
Primary section children through their project famous failures conveyed a message to one and all that one should not get disheartened if one has to face failures in one’s life rather one should become regular like a clock and strong like a rock to taste the desired success in life.Through mathematical charisma, children made the parents aware of Vedic Maths. Vedic Maths is 1500 percent faster than normal maths and at the sametime it is 100 percent accurate. It makes use of both the sides of the brain and sharpens one’s intellect. This what the visitors learnt about Vedic Maths.Goodness always-triumphs. Evilness may be successful for sometime but finally good deeds and actions turn out to be victorious. One must not give up hope and leave the path of truth during bad times but keep on moving. Dussehra (Victory of Goodness) a project by students of middle section deftly conveyed this message.Children paid a tribute to their father through various models and charts. Very deftly they conveyed their love for their father and extended a deep gratitude to them by promising to come up to their dreams and expectations. Through beautiful drawings they revealed that a father is always by the side of his children at every step of life.
The two-day event concluded today and parents had the privilege and pleasure of watching the projects of children prepared with their hands. Principal Sanjay Sardana said that such like annual events are a part of our ‘Learning by Doing’ projects which help the students to learn various important aspects of education while doing.
