By Sargun Makhni 1st September 2008 :The consistency and determination of the people to sweat and work laboriously with their ignited minds and souls to keep the lamp of knowledge, prosperity and development burning helped India to be stamped as a “GOLDEN BIRD”. India is embellished with rich natural resources, scenaric beauty, and the people who have the power to think wide, the rich cultural heritage and the hospitability of the people. All these pieces when put together into an integrated whole made India sparkle in the ancient times. Not only this but rich mythological era, Vedas, Purana’s are also the part of its pride. The hospitable nature of the people living in India and their belief that united we stand and divided we fall future strengthened the real sense of a “GOLDEN BIRD”.
Even India’s national flag with its tricolor of deep saffron on the top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom conveys Indians commitment and determination towards their work and spiritual values. The color deep saffron stands for courage, sacrifice and adherence to the spiritual values; the white color stands for purity and truth; green color stands for faith and aspiration. The in the center of the fag on the color there is a wheel. in navy blue to indicate the Dharma Chakra, the wheel of law in the Sarnath Lion Capital. In the wheel there are 24 spokes. These 24 spokes in the Ashoka represent the 24 hours. The wheel shows that there is death in stagnation and life in movement.
The brotherhood and respect for the countrymen and the country at the same time by the people of India made them word wide famous for their gentle and caring nature. In order to sprout the vibrant development India and transforming it into a developed nation and remarking it once gain as a golden bird. The people must realize that the ignited sove is the most powerful resources on the earth and under the earth and above which can spilt the word into “I AM POSSIBLE”!
