It will first time in the state that tribal youths of Anuppur district will be responsible for security of commercial and industrial establishments. These youths have been imparted necessary training under State Government’s skill development policy for self-employment and got the security personnel’s’ job in commercial and industrial establishments.
Anuppur district administration has set up School for Advanced Basic and Livelihood College (SABAL) by collecting training funds under various development departments. The training centre has been constructed and equipped on the lines of army and police training centres. Its objective is to enable youths to become partners in national progress and economy and become progressive individually so that they can secure employment and play significant role in society-building.
At the training institute, one-month training was imparted to first batch of 47 youths. The training was imparted through SIS. The youths were trained in patrolling duty, gate duty, searching operations, checking arrival and departure of companies’ material, checking of gate pass, behaviour at the time of arrival of VIPs etc. Training of PT, drill and Yoga was also imparted.
In the first batch, 47 youths were selected for various industrial establishments. Of these, 23 candidates were trained at commercial institutes of Raipur and 24 at Raigarh. Five trainees Ajay Kumar Sharma, Amekhar Dhure, Anagad Kumar, Lalit kumar and Dhaniram Gandhi were felicitated with excellence awards.
