By M.M. Goel : Today (October 05) is a World Teachers Day (WTD) and all of us should bow and pay our respects to them. We are what we are today all because of the teachers. With the spiritual strength and character, upright morals, strenuous practice, fearlessness, we the fraternity of teachers are capable of molding our students in to human capital.
As a teacher from the family of teachers for four generations, I have tremendous sense of satisfaction and fulfillment of doing something in the profession which is otherwise being converted in to vocation for some if not many.
To build a bridge between the class room and boardroom of the selection committee for any organization for getting appointment, we need to remember our teachers who have give us the opportunity to be a student. Let us learn swan strategy to choose milk and leave water in a pot with lessons for us on WTD. To imbibe practical wisdom in present times, we are required to learn seven Cs (care, confidence, commitment, creativity, communication skills, charisma and credibility) from the teachers as demanded by the employers from their human resources.
1 Care: To wipe the tears in the eyes of the weak and meek, we have to learn from the teachers who always take care to enthuse and motivate them to become unique by becoming altruistic (not me but you) to do something for the society which needs people with empathy and not sympathy only.
2 Confidence: A teacher can prove to be a hero because of the level of confidence to deliver the waves of thought with the body language expressing knowledge and wisdom more than anybody else on earth. The trait of confidence is necessary and sufficient to do any work in life.
3 Commitment: Good teachers are always committed to the cause of humanity through the knowledge of the subject and time management to reach the class on fixed time table without fail. To succeed in any career, we need commitment which can be learnt for the teacher. One can become indispensable through the commitment of doing anything and everything in any situation.
4 Creativity: We need to be creative in everything we do and perform in our working life. There are no lessons in creativity but can learn the skill from the teacher in and out the class room with the unique styles of teaching with out of box thinking, walking and talking beyond imagination.
5 Communication skills: Effective communication is necessary and sufficient condition to become successful in every walk of life, job and assignment. Effective management is practically the function of effective communication. It is the most important activity which can be learnt from the teacher- the way s(he) speaks and writes on the blackboard with chalk in earlier times but now in power point presentation (PPT) in a smart classroom which has yet to reach in every nook and corner of the country like India. Let there be two way traffic of communication between the students and teacher. We can learn better by talking and living together.
6 Charisma: We can learn from the charismatic personalities of the world to whom we listen with care. The inner magnetism of our favorite teachers always inspire us to become charismatic like them.
7 Credibility: It is the credibility of a teacher which can command respect from the students and can be established by hard work, sincerity, morality, accountability, knowledge and above all abilities of head (IQ) and heart (EQ) with spiritual wisdom. To win the hearts, heads and souls of all of our stakeholders, we need to establish our credibility as our teachers who are always respected in the society.
Teaching is a noble profession; let us not convert it in to a vocation to earn our livelihood to be blamed for deteriorating standards caused by commercialization of education and spiritual bankruptcy of the teachers.

Had our so called Spirituals been sincere to human race in doing their task in the right perspective, the Social, Political & Economical scenario across Globe would have been entirely different & not only better but the best.
But it appears that The Spirituals have literally failed in this regard but for the reason that everyone of them have been busy in minting money, buiding Posh Luxurious Asharams & are engaged only in enrolling their deciples, to exploit them indeed for their vested interests & other benefits too, by giving doses of Spirituaity to innocent & simpleton people as per their requirements, which is on the whole is greatest sin insooth, but off course it seems that they are licensed, to this unchallenged in the law of Land—dr.amritgaur at:aagasscoiates1943@yahoo.in
