SU-KRITI 2011-MULTI ART THEATER FESTIVAL is being organized by NATYA-TOLI and SANDLI PAIRAN KALA KENDER in association with Dept. Of Information, Public Relation and Cultural Affairs, Haryana and Dept. Of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh from July 24th to July 27th 2011. The 4 day long events will be held at Bal Bhawan, Sector-23B, Chandigarh. Natya-Toli (The People’s Theater) is a team of the creative and talented personnel, who have willingly left their promising careers and joined the field of Theater with the motive of creating awareness about the various societal issues.They have given a new dimension to the definition of Theatre as the medium of communication for enriching the general masses with the knowledge of happiness and way to lead a satisfies life. Under the guidance of vivacious and passionate guide PARVEEN JAGGI, SANDLI PAIRAN KALA KENDER & NATYATOLI imparts education to the people from all walks of life, which would enable them to understand the customs of the real world around them. By performing plays and skits, the team tries to cater to all the age groups. Every year SPPK & NATYA TOLI group organizes the Art Festival with great enthusiasm.
The Festival is a Theatrical Extravaganza for the people of the Tri-city- Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. This Multi Art Exhibition is for all those who have an inclination towards Theater and Art. To add to this, the Festival provides an opportunity to all the amateur artists residing in and at the outskirts of the tri-city to explore their talents, and in turn they can further polish their skills for pinnacle. SU-KRITI 2011-Art Exhibition-cum-Theater Festival is one of its kinds in Northern India. During the festival, teams from all over India will be performing plays and street plays, based on different social themes of our day-to-day lives.
Exhibition will include display of Photographs, paintings, sculptures and articles from waste materials. The city poets will recite self written poems. The unsung writers of the city will be present displaying their self written books.
