ST LOUIS, APRIL 15 : Missouri Youth Cricket Association (MYCA) recently hosted United States of America Cricket Association/Cricket Australia Level 1 Cricket Coaching Certification, approved by International Cricket Council, in St. Louis, according to MYCA secretary Ranjeet Singh.
He said “We had a very successful, interactive and fun filled learning experienc.”
The Course Presenter, Mr. Anand Tummala did an excellent job with course introduction, getting everyone participate, and ensure everyone left with the satisfaction of having learnt some new skills to be a better cricket coach, and willingness to offer their new learning expertise in youth cricket development in their respective communities.
The classroom portion was filled with discussions and all the 21 participants were involved in the group activities. The participants were Masroor Hussain, Sampath Vembakkam, Julie Abbott, Ajay Jhamb, Vikas Palhan, Gary Budoor, Rajesh Mishra, Bhargava Vasavada, Sudhir Kozhikal, Abhay Mogal, Sundar Ramakrishnan,Matthew Clark, Vinod Dasyam, Naren Pandian, Nirav Patel, Shreyash Dholakia, Shivaram Rajan Babu, Suresh Sivan, Susan Harris, Ranjeet Singh and Priya Singh.
After lunch the participantd had outdoor sessions and every participant led their respective coach assignments with responsibility and also gave constructive feedback to other coaches. Along with learning the cricket coaching skills, the participants also developed bonding with each other, demonstrated team work and made some great new friends.
