CHANDIGARH, SEPT 18 : Wicket-keeper Shine Sharma of The Baynan Tree School, Sector 48, Chandigarh has returned home after attending Specialist Academy for Spin Bowling and Wicketkeeping in Chennai from August 25 to September 14.
Board of Control for Cricket in India is running Specialists Academies for batting in Mumbai, fast bowling in Mohali and spin bowling and wicketkeeping in Chennai.
Shine Sharma (Punjab, WK), Abhishek Singh (Delhi, WK), Maninder Singh (Rajasthan, WK), Kentil Desai (Gujarat), Hardik Patel (Gujarat), Karthik Kakade (Baroda), Vikas Yadav (Baroda) and Vihar Ranjit Jadeja (Saurashtra) were in the fourth batch to attend the Spin Bowling and Wicketkeeping Academy in Chennai.Ravinder Talwar feels that Shine Sharma has gained good experience in the Chennai Academy. “Shine will now be feeling more confident behind the wickets after getting valuable tips to hon his skill in Chennai,” said Talwar, who is also general secretary of the Chandigarh Olympic Association.
