In the second match of the day played at Guru Nanak Public School, Sector-26, Pune Zone thrashed Ranchi Zone by 10 wickets with 66 balls to spare. Ranch Zone won the toss and elected to bat but managed to score only 115 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mangesh Vaidya played a swashbuckling unbeaten knock of 93 runs off 42 balls which was studded with17 hits to fence and three over it to achieve the target in just 9 overs. Shanshak Inamati played second fiddle and added 14 runs to the winning total.
