CHANDIGARH, SEPT 25 : Sahayatri Football Academy of Howrah thrashed Panasonik Football Academy, Haryana by 7-1 in 11th Administrator’s Challange Cup All-India Football Tournament at Sector 42 Sports Complex here today.
The Sahayatri lads started the game in a fast note and scored their first goal in the very first minute of play through Rakesh Mondal. Thereafter Subhankar Sana struck twice in the 19th and 57th minutes. SK Sural Ali scored two goals for Sahayatri in the 69th and 80th minutes. Avijit Nayer scored the seventh goal in the 90th minute. The solitary goal for Haryana was scored by Dev Karan in the 62nd minute.
Bishal Santra and Subhankar Sana of Sahayatri, Ujair and Sanjay of Panasonik Academy Haryana were cautioned by the referee and shown yellow card.
In the second match Thau Academy, Manipur drubbed Army Boys, Patna by 3-0. Thou lads dominated the proceedings from the word go. However the Army lads also came up with couple of good moves but failed to find the target. In the 10th minute of play a direct free kick was awarded to Thou lads just outside the penalty box. KH. Vickey converted the free kick by supurb banana kick.
Thou lads were leading by 1-0 at the breather.On the resumption of play after the lemon break Sahayatri lads pumped in two more goals and sealed the fate of Army Boys Patna. M.Oken Singh struck in 51st minute.. Kh. Vicky scored the third goal for his team in 80th minute. Shashi Kant of Army Boys was shown red card and given marching order by the referee. A.Khambaton of Manipur , Pranot Saha,L.Deepak Singh of Army Boys Patna were cautioned by the referee and shown yelloe card.
At Sector-17 Football Stadium hot contenders Mohun Bagan beat Chandigarh Football Association by 3-1. Sanu Hazara opened the account for Mohun Bagan in the 27th minute through a powerful grounder from 20 yards. Akhil Gularia of Chandigarh scored equaliser in the 37th minute. Both the teams were locked 1-1 at the breather.
After the half time interval both the teams played with the contrast tactics, Mohun Bagan lads played the game at fast pace where as Chandigarh lads trying to play it at slow pace. Timrosang Singson and C.Lalremrupa scored one goal each for Mohun Bagan in the 63rd and 76th minutes.
C.Lalremruapa of Mohun Bagan was cautioned and shown yellow card by the referee for delaying the restart of play.
Dalbir Football Academy Patiala played draw with Sambalpur Football Academy and shared point. Kison Besra, Mohan Portel of Sambalpur and Santosh Kumar of Dalbir Academy Patiala were cautioned and shown yellow card by the referee.
In the last match of the day defending champions Chandigarh Football Academy routed Bhutia Football Academy by 6-0. Jatinder scored first goal in 45+1 minute of play. Second goal was scored byAmarjit in the 54th minute of play. Mobashir scored two goal in the 66th and 70th minute of play. Mohit and Harpal scored one goal each in the 82nd and 86th minute of play. Sunveer and deepanshu of Bhutia Academy were shown yellow card by referee.
