Resuming at overnight 593 for 1, Mohali declared their first innings closed at 681 for 8 in 142 overs on the second day of their three-day match against Amritsar in the Punjab Underr-16 Inter-District Cricket Tournament for M.L Markan Trophy at MCM Ground in Mohali today.
Overnight not out batsmen Nirmal Singh added 36 runs to his score before being bowled out for 267. For Amritsar Rahul Kashyap (4 for 138) and Abhishek Sharma (3 for 188) were the most successful bowlers.
Replying Amritsar scored 281 for 5 in 72 overs at close of play. Rahul Kashyap struck a strokeful century (118) off 117 balls inclusive of 21 boundaries. Akash Sharma (66) off 69 balls with 12 boundaries was the other main run getter for Amritsar. For Mohali, Akash Dhari (2 for 84) and Ashish Bisht (2 for 75) were the main wicket takers.

In the second match played at Dhruv Pandove Stadium in Patiala. Ropar resuming at their overnight 253 for 6 were bowled out for 278 in 139 overs. Replying Patiala were 259 for 8 in 69 overs at close of second day’s play.
Prabhsimran Singh 69 off 55 balls with 15 boundaries Ibbadat Thaman 56 off 76 balls with 9 boundaries were the principal run getters for Patiala. Medium pacer Resham Sharma (6 for 90) was the most successful bowler for Ropar.

Chandigarh and Jalandhar identical total of 177 in their first innings in Jalandhar. Chandigarh who were bowled out for 177 yesterday fought back to skittle out Jalandhar for 177 in 108 overs.
For Jalndhar Azam Nazar ( 47, 8x4s) Rishabh Saini (24) and Kulwinder Singh (25) boundaries were the main run getter. For Chandiagrh Tavleen Singh (3 for 49) , Jagdeep Singh (2 for 16) and Chiranpreet Singh (2 for 12) were the most successful bowlers. In the second innings Chandigarh were 34 for no loss in 15 overs at close of second days play.
