Sonia backs Pranab for his balanced budget

4 March :  Congress President Sonia Gandhi described bills on Food Security and Women’s Reservation as “most important” legislative agenda of the government at Congress Parliamentary party meeting on Thursday.

Sonia has backed Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on budget and indicated there would be no roll back on fuel pricing.

3 March : Legendary Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who has the highest number of Test wickets under his belt, is planning to quit cricket’s longer version after the tour of West Indies in October.
