1 Apr : A day after seeking time to consider appearing in the 26/11 attacks trial, advocate Anjali Waghmare informed a special court on Wednesday that she was willing torepresent arrested terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab.

New Delhi, 1st Apr :   Shri S.C. Sinha, an IPS officer of 1975 batch (Haryana cadre) today took over as Additional Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation. Before joining CBI, he was Director General in the State Vigilance Bureau, Haryana.

1 Apr :The PGI director, Dr K.K. Talwar,  has once again been given an extension for two years by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry. As per the orders issued today, Dr Talwar will continue as director as well as head of the cardiology department until 2011.
