Dehra Dun: The BC Khanduri government in Uttarakhand which completes one month in office, face uphill task to eradicate corruption in the state. The 76-year-old politician who was sworn in as sixth chief minister of state on September 11, in his second innings at the chief minister, plans to take several steps for ensure clean and accountable administration in the state, an official release said today.
In a view to fight corruption, all the ministers and IAS and IPS officials have been directed to declare their assets by October 15. Also in order to make the process of transfer of government employees fair and transparent, a law has been formulated replacing the previous transfer policy.
