Sarabha: As a Tribute to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, the youngest Martyr and Gadharite, the Youth Wing of the Sehajdhari Sikh Party (SSP) under the command of its Punjab President Jagtar Singh Hissowal held a scooter-motorbike Chetna Rally to celebrate the 115th birth anniversary of Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha today from his native village Sarabha after garlanding the statue of sarabha at his home and bus stand at Sarabha. The march was carried out in the shape of a convoy procession passing through various villages namely Dango, Pakhowal, Halwara, Nurpura, Gondwal and concluded by holding ardas at Gurudwara Tahliana Sahib Raikot. The National President of the SSP Dr.Paramjeet Singh Ranu while addressing the public stated that it’s the need for the Nation to start a second movement of Freedom and such gadaharites should take rebirth to curb the corrupt anti-national forces sitting within the country,He demanded that the Govt’s should try to give recognition to the Martyr as a National Hero and the SGPC and Akali Dal should recognize him as a Sikh because he was born in a Sikh family. It is matter of concern that all these Martrys Sarabha,Bhagat Singh ,Sukhdev and Udham Singh do not fall into the newly framed definition of Sikh by the SGPC.They all are Sehajdhari Sikhs and it is open to all publicly, that Akalis misuse their names for garnering votes, but do not wish even to recognize them as Sikhs. Its very painful to say that even our Govt’s had failed to recognize the sacrifice of Kartar Singh Sarabha who was the Youngest martyr who fought against British tyranny till he was sentenced to death but those who matter in Governance do not recognize him as martyr.
Hundreds of Youth workers were seen on motorbikes and scoters raising sologans in favour of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and majority werein red turbans and others were bearing red ribbon badges on their pockets as a colour of sacrifice of the Party.
