Partap Singh Bajwa appointed the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee

CHANDIGARH: Partap Singh Bajwa has been appointed the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee replacing Capt Amarinder Singh.

According to the press release issued by Janardhan Dwivedi, General Secretary and the Media Incharge of the AICC, “The Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi has appointed Shri Partap Singh Bajwa MP as President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee in place of Shri Amarinder Singh with immediate effect.”

“She has also appointed Shri Harish Chaudhary MP as Secretary of the AICC. Shri Chaudhary will be attached with the incharge of Punjab and look after party organisation in the state”, Dwivedi said in the release issued late on Tuesday night.
