D.C.P. Ludhiana, Harsh Bansal denying justice to a senior citizen and aggrieved father who is cheated by his own son, despite the directions of hon’ble High Court of providing speedy justice.
Ludhiana, 18/09/2013, today Ramesh Chander resident of Barewal Awana, Ludhiana, through a press release expressed his problems and pains of being cheated by his own son Sumesh alias Sunny. He wrote that he has lodged an FIR No- 112, dated 01/06/2012 at P.S. Div. No-5 against Sumesh. He is found guilty in the investigation and re- inquiry as well. Sumesh is freely roaming in the city, going to his shop and telling his contacts that he has connections with the D.C.P. (Ldh) Harsh Bansal and he has been granted arrest stay by D.C.P. (Ldh) in FIR No- 112, whereas Sumesh’s bail application was dismissed earlier by the session court of Ludhiana and then by the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court on 29/05/2013, nearly four months have passed since then but neither there is any effort from police to arrest Sumesh, nor is the investigation on the right track.
Ramesh Chander has lodged another complaint of fraud against his son Sumesh through C.R. No. 13515 on 08/11/2012. After the enquiry, opinion of D.A. Legal (Ldh) was obtained and orders to register the case have been passed in the month of June but since then the said file was untraceable and the same is now found in the office of D.C.P. Ludhiana, Sh. Harsh Bansal. File is lying there for more than two months without sufficient cause. It is obvious that D.C.P (Ldh) is helping the culprit son in both the cases.
Ramesh Chander further wrote that he has met Commissioner of police (Ldh) and D.C.P. (Ldh) several times after 29/5/13 and told them that he and his wife are forced to live under immense pressure and threats to their lives. He has submitted his concern regarding interference and discrimination of D.C.P. (Ldh) through e-mails and registered letters to both the officers and D.G.P. (Pb). He has registered his complaint at police helpline 181 on 13/09/13 as well. He further wrote that if still there will be no action from police authorities then he will be left with no other option but to approach hon’ble High Court because last week on 10/09/13 a double bench of Hon’ble High Court comprising of the Chief Justice has issued strict directions to the Chief Sec. (Pb), Principal Sec. (Home) and D.G.P. (Pb) for providing speedy justice to the people.
