The State Government has taken the resolve to supply power without any interruptions for prescribed duration to non-agriculture rural consumers and farmers from separate feeders. Efforts are afoot to complete this ambitious scheme by the end of 2012 at any cost. The State Government is committed to end power cuts. About Rs. 75 crore is being spent on feeder separation work in Harda district. Out of these, the work of separating 23 feeders has been accomplished. Minister of State for Energy (independent charge) Shri Rajendra Shukla disclosed this while dedicating a renovated 33/11 KV power sub-station at Handiya in Harda district today.
Shri Shukla said that Rs. 25 thousand crore development works are being undertaken in the power sector including Rs. 140 crore development works in Harda district. Ample power will become available for domestic as well as agricultural consumption after completion of feeder separation work. Shri Shukla said reiterated the resolve to make Madhya Pradesh a progressive state and power sector self-reliant. He said that it will lead to progress in all the sectors including agriculture, industries and information technology.
MLA Shri Kamal Patel said that after completion of this work, 74 villages of the area will not have to face the difficulty of low voltage. The function was also addressed by MLA Shri Sanjay Shah.
