In a bid to make train travelling safer, Indian Railways will soon launch a zero accident mission. Addressing valedictory session of International Railway Convention, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Saturday said the ministry is working towards improving signalling and communication system.
The railway minister also laid emphasis on development of suitable technology to control accidents.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said that soon the government will make an agreement with 13 countries to import advanced technology in developing the railway network.
He also said that govt will double investment in the next ten years.
The railway minister also called on participating countries to come and be a part of the make in india initiative.
