Nodal Officersappointed for monitoring the election expenditure in HP

Shimla : As per the instructions of Election Commission of India, Officers of Excise and Taxation, Income Tax and Police Department had been appointed as Nodal Officers for monitoring the election expenditure during the Vidhan Sabha Elections in the State.

This was stated by Spokesperson of the Election Department here today.

In respect to any complaints regarding illegal carrying of cash or liquor or any other suspicious items or arms, distribution of money or liquor or any other lucrative items to electors with the intention to influence them, for complaining regarding surrogate advertisements, paid news etc, the general public can contact Shri Ritesh Parmar, Additional Director of Income Tax (Inv.)
