World has started realizing the fact evident in the ancient Indian ideology and is reverting back to the traditional system of worshipping earth, air, fire, water and sky which were essential ingredients of nature. These views were expressed by Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, while addressing the devotees of Gayatri Parivar, assembled at Ice Skating Rink, where he received the Birth Centenary Rath Yatra and performed pooja today.Chief Minister said that the Indian philosophy was based upon the proven facts and had been in practice for centuries together. He said that the awakened society the world over had started reverting back to the old system and realizing the fact that the five elements of nature were essential for the sustainability of the living beings. He said that Indian had been worshipping water, air, fire, earth and sky dedicatedly as a part of their way of life and now the western world had also realized the fact and starting toeing the Indian lines. He said that Indian scriptures had taught of the moral values and guided the universe to make the same as part of their daily life.
Prof. Dhumal paid his floral tributes to the founder of Gayatri Parivar Yug Rishi Vedmurti Pandit Shriram Sharma on his birthday centenary celebration and wished the same a grand success. He said that Gayatri Parivar had been instrumental in spreading the message of social and communal harmony by rising above all considerations, which had given new directions to the society. He said that the real tribute to Pandit Shriram Sharma would be to spread his ideology to the farthest corner of the universe so that maximum people could make their lives successful.
Shri Sukhdev Sharma, representative of Shanti Kunj Haridwar, detailed the itinerary of the Rath Yatra and the objective behind the same.
Shri V.K.Bhatnagar, Chief Convenor of Gayatri Parivar in Himachal Pradesh, welcomed the Chief Minister and thanked him for boosting their morale by participating in the Rath Yatra.
Shri Suresh Bhardwaj, MLA, Shri Ganesh Dutt, Vice Chairman, HIMUDA, Shri Onkar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner and other dignitaries of the town were present among a large gathering of devotees of Gayatri Parivar.
