Chandigarh, May 18 –Applications have been invited by CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar for admission to various under graduation level and post graduation level courses.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that during the academic session 2011-12, admissions would be granted to four-year B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science, M.Sc. Food Science and Technology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Basic Science and Home Science courses. In addition to it, admissions would also be granted in post-graduate diploma in Technology, Industrial Microbiology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, School Counseling, Communication Skills in English and English-Hindi Translation.Two new courses, namely 6-year B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science had also been started from this academic session. Admissions to these courses would be granted after matriculation, he added.
He said that applications for admission to four-year B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. Food Science and Technology, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Basic Science and Home Science could be submitted by May 20 and for admission to four-year and six-year B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science and six-year B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture by May 21. However, applications with a late fee of Rs 100 could be submitted by May 26.
