Chandigarh,26 May:Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said on Monday that Cabinet as well as administrative reshuffle were on cards and it would be done on the basis of performance.
There is one vacancy, which can be added to the 13 members Council of Ministers, he told newsmen in Chandigarh on Monday evening. "Besides the expansion there would be reshuffle of the Council," he said.
Asked if some Ministers could be dropped for bad performance, Hooda said, "during reshuffle anything can happen." By and large there has been no problem as far as the performance of the Ministers is concerned, he said adding but in case there was a "better performer" he could be considered.
Referring to the defeat of Congress in the Adampur assembly constituency, he said the victory of former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal in the bye-election was a "politically meaningless non event".
In fact, an elderly person has won from Adampur because he had made an emotional appeal to seek votes; Hooda said adding, "Bhajan Lal did not fair well. It (win) is his fare well." Courtsey : DD NEWS
