New Delhi,April 27:Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister said that Sikh Guru Guru Govind Singh jee laid the foundation of ‘Khalsa Panth’ by merging the collaboration five castes, for the creation of casteless society.Chief Minister was speaking at Mavlankar Hall Delhi today on the occasion of Khalsa Foundation Day Programme organized by National Sikh Sangat. He said that whereas the Sikh Guru founded the Khalsa Panth by merging all the castes in it, on the other hand political parties divided the society again in different castes for their selfish ends.Prof. Dhumal said that Britishers during their rule presented the Indian history in such a distorted way, so that society could be discouraged and the picture of Indian worriers, great people and saints could be distorted. He said that future NDA Government in the Centre would rectify the historical mistakes on the priority bases.Stressing the need to develop India on the world map as Spiritual Power Chief Minister said that in the nuclear war, victory of any Country is not sure but India could contribute in the field of spirituality and spread the message of world peace and could made the World nuclear free.He said that we Indians should always be proud for our ancestors and should spread the teachings of our religion and gurus. He said that while celebrating diwali, holi and other national festivals, we should also spread the message related to these festivals and should also inculcate the indian values in the younger generation.
Prof. Dhumal said that BJP Government has all respects for Sikh Gurus and the College of Pounta Sahib has been named after Guru Govind Singh and said that all possible help would be provided for the development of Sikh Educational Institution at Baru Sahib.Earlier, Sardar Virender Singh Johar, Chief Pattern and Shri Gurmukh Singh, Chairman, National Sikh Sangat welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him ‘Saropa’.
