New Delhi, 10th February. Chandni Chowk District BJP workers led by District President Shri Suman Kumar Gupta & Pradesh Vice President Shri Jai Prakash today held a demonstration in Lal Kuan near the residence of Delhi Government Minister Shri Imran Hussain to demand his resignation.
Raising slogans against the Kejriwal Government and demanding the resignation of Minister Imran Hussain the BJP workers started their March from Ajmeri Gate towards the residence of the Minister in Ballimaran but the local police stopped them in Lal Kuan where BJP Minority Morcha’s National President Shri Abdul Rashid, Shri Suman Gupta, Shri Jai Prakash & Shri Praveen Jain addressed the demonstrators. Prominent amongst the demonstrators were Shri Motilal Sodhi, Shri Mahesh Chand Sharma, Shri Shyam Lal Morwal, Smt. Lata Sodhi, Shri Sushil Sharma, Shri Kuldeep Singh, Shri Ajay Bhardwaj, Shri Amit Gupta etc.
Shri Abdul Rashid said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government has failed the people of Delhi and corruption & nepotism has become synonyms with this Government. We demand the resignation of Kejriwal Government whose ministers Asim Khan and Imran Hussain have shamed the people of Delhi specially the Muslim Community.
Shri Jai Prakash said that the Delhi Chief Minister often says that BJP Councillors are involved in corruption but after a sting video shown by many TV channels, it is amply clear that Kejriwal MLAs and Ministers are involved in extortions from the people doing necessary repairs and renovations in their properties. He said earlier too the names of MLAs Jarnail Singh, Ritu Raj and Manoj Kumar have appeared in such scandals.
Shri Suman Kumar Gupta said that ever since AAP Government has come to power, it’s MLAs from old Delhi Shri Imran Hussain, Shri Asim Ahmed Khan, Councillor Shri Rakesh Kumar have made life a hell for the local residents. The development work has come to a total standstill in old Delhi and the touts of the AAP leaders are on round the clock rounds of the Katras and Kuchas extorting money from local residents and shopkeepers doing petty repairs.
