Chandigarh 31st May, The PGI Employees Union thanks Dr. Yogesh Chawla, DPGI for clearing the financial up-gradations cases of hundereds of Engineering staff, which were due as long as since 9.8.1999.
More than 100 employees belonging to Work Charge (Regular) have been granted financial up-gradations from 1999, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 onwards by orders dated 23.5.2012. Copies of few orders readily available are attached herewith.
The cases of Engineering Staff on Revenue side for financial up-gradations and promotions are also under active consideration.
The Screening Committee for granting financial up-gradations to 143 Hospital Attendant will be convened very soon. The longstanding cases of Pharmacists and Laboratory Attendants have also been sorted out and will be implemented soon.
Dr. Yogesh Chawla, DPGI has constituted the Committee under Prof. S.K.Prabhakar to examine the pay fixation cases of Ex-Servicemen and a positive report is awaited to grant benefit of past army service to the remaining ex-servicemen. Earlier, the last pay drawn in army by more than 100 Ex–servicemen have already been protected by granting advance increments.
On 1.5.2012, the DPGI has issued an office order to fill up promotional posts of all categories and grant financial up-gradations within 2 months, which has a very positive impact.
The cases of employees denied promotion due to un-communicated average ACRs since 1992 are under active consideration.
Dr. K. K. Talwar, former DPGI did not pay heed to the just and geneuione grievances of employees and was busy in irregular and illegal acts for extraneous consideration. Dr. Talwar let loose terror to silence the voice of Union and its supporters against corrupt and corruption but the Union did not succumb to his pressure tactics.
Now, the Union took up the longstanding cases with Dr. Yogesh Chawla, DPGI in the marathon meetings held on 12th and 19th April, 2012 and DPGI was pleased to accept the demands and grievances. Dr. Yogesh Chawla, DPGI has kept his words and released the benefits to hundreds of employees and many more relief’s are under consideration.
