Bharatiya Janata Party organized one day Training Camp for Booth Level Agents at ‘Kamlam’ Sector 33, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of state President Sh. Sanjay Tandon. The camp was attended by all the Mandal Presidents, Booth Level Agents and prominent party activists from all the wards. The camp was formally inaugurated by party’s national General Secretary (Organization) Sh. Ram Lal.
The one-day training camp was addressed by party’s national General Secretary (Org) Sh. Ram Lal, National Convener of Antyodaya Project Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, National Convener of Election Sh. R.Ramakrishna and Co-Convener Sh. Ranjan Khosla, State President Sh. Sanjay Tandon, former President Sh.Jairam Joshi, Dharam Pal Gupta, former Member Parliament Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Sh. Harmohan Dhawan, Dr. Dharinder Tayal among others.
In his inaugural speech Sh. Sanjay Tandon highlighted the problems of local residents, party’s activities and dual policy of Congress Party. He said the Congress Party has nothing to do with the development of city and is looting the general public by price hike at regular intervals. He said it is strange that the local Member Parliament is against the over-bridge etc. whereas the city is facing acute problem of traffic. He further said that the Congress is making new records of Corruption.
National General Secretary (Org) Sh. Ramlal said that the whole nation is suffering from corruption, scams, scandals, price-hike and mal-administration of Congress and sees Bharatiya Janata Party as the only alternative. During the tenure of BJP Government party gave a transparent and clean government and controlled the prices even after the Pokaran Nuclear Test when the nation faced financial crunch. He further said that during a recent survey of Media BJP ruled states stood at first, second and third place on the basis of their performance.
He further said that ‘Jan Chetna Yatra’ led by Sh. Lal Krishna Advani is receiving overwhelming response in every party of country and it is reaching Chandigarh at an appropriate time when the elections of Municipal Corporation are to be held in December. This will help the party activists to mobilize the general public. He stressed upon the need of distribution of work upto the Booth level to make the Yatra a grand success. He said that BJP will surely win the forthcoming Municipal elections and the next Mayor will be of Bharatiya Janata Party.
National Incharge of Antyodaya Project Sh.Manohar Lal Khattar, National Convener of Election Cell Sh. R.Ramakrishna and Co-Convener Sh. Ranjan Khosla and National Incharge of Legal Cell Sh. Satya Pal Jain gave tips about the election management and publicity and stressed upon the need of personal contact with the voters.
