By Madhup. Chandigarh, 31th May: Everyone can be nice to a king, but to be nice to a beggar takes character, empathy and most importantly ‘Love towards humanity’. With motto ‘Spreading Love’, more than 95 members are working for this “NGO TAMANNA” for adulating its forged in a new world of benevolent ambience for the patients of Government Hospital, Sector 32.On Monday, as the members entered the hospital to savour their 33rd monthly event, the awe at the faces around left no air of doubt that the angels have heard their plea. The general ward was thereafter filled with roses symbolizing love and care presented to the patients under distress. The greetings carved out by the members adorned with pictures and words praying their wellness enthused an irrevocable smile on their face.
Some patients waiting in the Paedtriatic ward for their turn to be treated were not even in the position to pay the bed, meal and transport charges. It was observed that the hospital is providing extremely good service. ‘NGO TAMMANA’ helped the patients and provided Rs.300 cash each for the needy ones. For counseling and making the suffering forget for some of the patients, all members joined hands with the Founder and President, Ms. Isha Kakaria. Like angels, they brought smiling face with ray of hope in eyes of the patients. This noble act by NGO TAMMANA was rampant.
“The most powerful way of serving humanity is lending a smile. This time also, our NGO TAMANNA proved it again today. We would keep on spreading love from time to time. Great people have a curious feeling that the greatness is not in them, But through them” said Isha Kakaria, Founder and President.
