Chandigarh, February 2nd : Mr.Anil Kumar Home Secretary Chandigarh Administration inaugurated the India Travel Mart (ITM), an International Travel Tourism Exhibition at Hotel Mountview here today. He was accompanied alongwith Sh.D.K.Tiwari Secretary Tourism and other officials and members of the Tourism Fraternity Chandigarh’s Biggest International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, India Travel Mart (ITM) is back to TRI-CITY for Summer Holidays/Vacations, Business Trips, Family Holidays, Honeymooners and Adventure & Eco Tourism Places. The Travel Mart shall be held at Hotel Mountview, Sector 10, Chandigarh from 2nd to 4th February 2013.
At this inaugural forum, Home Secretary Chandigarh took the round and interacted with the various exhibitors and representatives of various State Tourism Corporations .While addressing the media today, Sh.Anil Kumar highlighted the strategic role of Chandigarh in promoting tourism in the region .The people of this region are also keen travellers and often visit Toursit spots in the hilly states on the weekends apart from going on Holidays vacations to foreign destinations.
