Chandigarh, August 17: India has emerged as one of the third most attractive destination for clinical research in the world informed Dr Dharinder Tayal, member of the Panjab University senate and Director of Bank of Rajasthan while speaking to the first batch of the students of Anovus Institute of Clinical Research here today.
He was quoting the recently released AT Kearney’s global survey report on clinical research that highlights 116% growth in phaes II and III trials in India over the last 15 months with its ranking reaching 12 from earlier 18, among the 70 most active countries in the world.
To meet the growing demand for clinical trial specialists in the country, Anovus Institute is the first clinical research institute offering two-years masters degree course recognised by the Punjab Technical University, and is the only one of its kind offering modular study model.
