Vijuy Ronjan, DGM – Operations & Credit, State Bank of India at Parade Ground, Sector-17, Chandigarh.
Auto Mall 2011 – a new ride and drive element, highlighting the future of the automotive industry, opened its doors to the millions of auto enthusiasts today and will remain open till Sunday, May 8th, 2011. Sukhdev Singh, who came all the way from the capital with his Bullet motorcycle and showed his control on his prized posession, which is that very Royal Enfeild model which was originally from Great Britain. He said that he has been doing this since five years now and have performed at various cities of India. Others who were present & making the big machines look like toy’s were Saurav Nanda from Ludhiana, Dinesh, Harsh from Delhi & the machines which they were using were Pulsar, Kinetic Scooter, Bajaj chetak Scooter, Honda, etc.
Suzuki, Tata Motors, FIAT, M&M, Skoda, Toyota, General Motors, Honda Cars etc., in addition to leading two wheeler & Automobile majors like HMSI, Hero Honda, TVS, Bosch and more along with Super Bikes & Vintage Cars, which promise to give a huge flip to the industry and offers a new platform to the world’s fastest growing automotive industry to showcase its new and emerging products and technologies. Honda had displayed its one of the costliest varients of the bikes launched in India which costs Rs. 17,87,143.00 was one of the main attractions of the show.

Vintage & Classic Car Club of Chandigarh is actively participating in the Auto Mall. A rally of Vintage & Classic Cars will be organized by Auto Mall. The rally will be flagged off on 7th May 2011 at 2pm from the venue of Auto Mall by Sh. Pradeep Srivastava, IPS, IG – UT Chandigarh. It will cover various parts of the city and culminate at North Park. A large number of models of cars & bikes are being launched every year. Market requires a platform where companies can showcase their newly launched products to customers regularly and till date Auto Expo happens to be a single platform which comes once in 2 years.
