17 April : Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Morcha today organized a programme to celebrate the 120th Birth Anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at S.B.S. Colony, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh under the leadership of Sh. Jora Singh, President of Morcha.
BJP State President Sh. Sanjay Tandon was the chief guest whereas former Party President Sh. Jai Ram Joshi, Satinder Singh, Councillor Ram Lal, Sachin Lohtia, Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, Mata Ram Dhiman, Chaman Lal, Sawan Lehri, Satyawan Shera, Leeladhar Swamy, Devi Singh, Shakti Prakash Devshali, Khursheed Ahmed, Raju Kangra also spoke on the occasion.Sh. Sanjay Tandon and other leaders remembered Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and offered flower petals on the photograph of Dr. Ambedkar. The local activists of the SC Morcha honored Sh. Sanjay Tandon with sword.
While addressing the gathering Sh. Sanjay Tandon greeted them on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and said the Congress who named martyrs as murders have no right to blame Bharatiya Janata Party. He further said that due to the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar we are living in a society where all are given equal opportunities and the differences of society have come to an end. He worked throughout his life for equality in the society and after independence drafted the Constitution of Independent Hindusthan. BJP developed the place as Memorial of Dr. Ambedkar where he breathed last.
While addressing the gathering Sh. Jora Singh thanked all the local residents to participate in the programme of Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He said that the Congress is using our community just as Vote Bank and is hardly bothered about our development. Sh. Sachin Lohtia said that Congress party is befooling the Scheduled Caste community and blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party for defaming Dr. Ambedkar whereas the whole nation is aware that the Bharatiya Janata Party is wholeheartedly working for the development of every section of society particularly the Scheduled Caste Community and have given maximum Member Parliaments from SC community till date.
