Chandigarh: Students of Wings Theatre Academy performed a play titled ‘She stood up’ at Vivek High School. The play, which is the second of a trilogy written and directed by Zubin Mehta, focused on various aspects of school life. The story revolved around two girls who despite having different personalities and backgrounds became good friends and took steps of courage to change people’s perspectives and empowered girls through a football match. Various schools of tricity, including Delhi Public School, Learning Paths, Sacred Heart, St Kabir Public School and Strawberry Fields School, participated.

Mohali: Learning Paths School, Mohali, organised annual achievers’ day for primary and secondary wing students wherein they were given awards for their achievements during the year. The event commenced with scintillating dance performance by primary wing students, followed by a note of welcome to the gathering. The newly appointed office-bearers were honored with badges and took oath for fulfilling their responsibilities. Students mesmerised the audience with cultural performances.
Aanchal International School
Chandigarh: The investiture of Aanchal International School was held with pomp at the school’s gymnasium hall. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes. The students’ council took a pledge to hold the school motto of ‘Loyalty, Truth and Honour’ in high esteem. Principal Manju Sood advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for smooth running of the school. tns
