Patna, February 25

The Opposition is likely to storm both the Houses of Bihar State Legislature over Srijan scam, toilet scam and declining law and order situation as the budget sessions are set to begin tomorrow.

The budget session of both the Houses, which has a schedule of 24 working days, is likely to continue till April 4. The Opposition grand alliance (RJD and Congress) is set to make the sessions stormy and attack the ruling NDA.

The Opposition will also attack Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led NDA government over easy availability of liquor in the dry state despite stringent liquor laws and declining law and order situation. The bypoll for the LS seat and two assembly constituencies is scheduled to be held on March 11. The elections for six RS seats are also scheduled to be held in March.

BJP leader and state Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav said, “The ruling NDA government will try to conduct the business of the Houses but it would depend upon the Opposition whether it cooperates with the government or not.”

Opposition leader Tejaswi Yadav said: “The Nitish government has failed on all fronts as the law and order situation has worsened, scams are rampant across the state and no development has taken place in the state. He is only conspiring to implicate us in false and fabricated cases in collusion with the BJP-RSS combine”.
