July 01, 2009 :Shri Anil Khachi, Chief Electoral Officer said here today that photo electoral rolls would be verified in the Gram Sabha/Local Bodies meetings to be held on 5th July, 2009 in the five Vidhan Sabha Constituencies of 65-Jubbal Kotkhai, 67-Rohru (SC) of district Shimla and 7-Indora, 8-Fatehpur and 9-Jwali of district Kangra.

He advised the voters to verify their names in the electoral rolls on 5th July in their respective Gram Sabha meeting and added that they could also get their name enlisted in the electoral rolls in case of non inclusion so far. He said that the voters could also file objections and get the names of those voters deleted from the list who have left the places permanently or are no more.

Shri Khachi said that voters could also visit the website of election department http://ceohimachal.nic.in to check their names in the photo electoral rolls.
