Chandigarh, 24 April: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has organized a Blood Donation Camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30-A, Chandigarh in which 480 Nirankari devotees including 50 women donated blood voluntarily for spreading the message of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj of Humanism. This will mark a beginning of 18 Blood Donation Camps to be organized in the Chandigarh Zone during the current year.
Mrs. Juginder Kaur, Member incharge, Parchar Vibhag, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi, inaugurated the blood donation camp. While addressing the donors and devotees of Nirankari Mission, she said that the participation of Nirankari devotees in any of the social activities whether it is the cleanliness drive in the city or tree plantation, is accepted by all sections of society. She was happy in this blood donation camp and said that the blood donation is the best donation which one can give to the mankind.
Dr. B.S.Cheema, Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh Zone welcomed the chief guest and thanked all the donors and team of Doctors of P.G.I. Dr. Cheema said that Sant Nirankari Mission is organizing 71 Blood Donation Camps across the country on a single day. The Sant Nirankari Mission remained at the top amongst all the blood donation voluntary organizations in the country.
Sh. Mohinder Singh, Parmukh Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh thanked all the blood donors and said that the Nirankari devotees are spreading the message of Love, Human Brotherhood through such blood donation camps.
In this camp, Shri Naranjan Singh, IAS (Retd), Khetriya Sanchalak of Chandigarh Khetra Sh. H S Dhillon, Khetriya Sanchalak of Derabassi Khetra Shri Shubh Karan and Smt. Bhagwan Devi Nandwani were also present.
This camp was lead by Dr. Suchet Sahdev, Astt. Professor, Blood Transfusion, PGI Chandigarh alongwith his team of 20 staff members. Dr. Sahdev said that the encouragement of Nirankari donors has nowhere been seen by me in the Camps organized by other Societies/Organizations.
