We, the ones d us who work at Health believe that health , to be a healthy person is to be able to solve daily difficulties without decompensation , whereas Sexual Health involves good physical , mental and emotional health , matters that are related an have to do with the rights of persons entitled to choose their sexuality freely and also from a place of responsibility , a conscious sexuality .
During centuries an even more, the concept of sexuality – a fact that is not only biological, but is eminently cultural – was considered a taboo , and although it has been redefined over the past fifty years further we still as professionals we have to work the idea of pleasure associated with female sexuality .Even the idea of pleasure during childbirth illuminating -the arrival of a son or daughter into the world -, contrary to biblical mandate sentenced women to ” give birth in pain ” .
According to OMS World Health Organization , Sexual Health is ” a state of physical, emotional , mental and social well being related to sexuality , which is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or disability. that sexual health is achieved and maintained , the sexual rights of all persons must be respected , protected and fulfilled to the fullest. Both believe that , sexual health can be achieved and sustained sexual health , sexual rights must be respected by all people. Indeed, to achieve this , WHO says that it requires a ” positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships , as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual relationships , free of coercion , discrimination and violence .
