The India Post Team, Chandigarh, 20th June:According to Kamaljit Singh, Branch Manager, FPA Indian Panchkula Branch is organizing a Capacity Building Workshop on Male Involvement in Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights on 21st June 2008 at 10.00 a.m, at Youth Hostel, Sector 3, Panchkula.
The Programme will be inaugurated by the President Mrs. Veena Monga, President of the Branch. She will stress on “Why focusing on Male Involvement”. Mrs. Pushpa Khanna, Honorary Treasurer of the Branch will provide her expertise on “Male Participation in Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights”. Besides, a Resource Person from Haryana AIDS Control Society (HACS) will brief the participants on Role of Community Leaders in “HIV/AIDS Programme and Role of Males in this regard”. Dr Daisy Topno, Medical Officer of the Branch will brief on “Safe Abortion Services available at FPAI Clinic and Role of Male in the Family” and Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Project Manager, TI Project for MSM will brief on “Situational Analysis of STI/HIV AND other infections among the adolescent” followed by Mr. Manoj Kumar Programme Officer of the Branch will speak on “Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights – Role of Male in the family towards his children”.
