Ambala, April 14 : More than 250 patients were examined at the KDS Foundation organised free knee ailments and knee replacement check-up camp at Sarwal Orthopaedic Hospital Ambala City on Sunday, April 14.
Renowned knee and joint replacement surgeon Dr Jaswant Rai from Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula, and Dr Ashok Sarwal, senior Ortho Surgeon, Sarwal Orthopaedic Hospital, provided free consultation to people with knee problems from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
KDS foundation is a not for profit charitable institution run by Dr KD Singh, MP Rajya Sabha. It is successfully undertaking camps all across the country for detection of diseases. The charitable trust has done to close to 300 camps all across the country last year.
The prominent camps run are Diabetes detection, Hb detection, Hypertension, Complete Ortho Check-ups, Arthritis Management, Joints management and a free consultation is provided to all patients by renowned doctors. KDS foundation representative Mr. SS Raina said the foundation has an ambitious plan to do 500 camps in India this year and these camps will be mainly in the belts of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir etc.
