Two FIRs were Tuesday filed against RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for his controversial comment on BJP President Amit Shah during an election rally. The FIRs were registered at Patna and Jamui.
Meanwhile, campaigning is on in full swing whether its NDA’s top brass like Amit Shah and union ministers or the leaders of the Grand alliance, political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters.
BJP president Amit Shah addressed a rally in Samastipur even as Lalu Prasad addressed supporters at Arwal on Tuesday.
The RJD chief is also making headlines for the controversy over the age of his sons Tej Pratap Yadav – who is actually elder to Tejaswi Yadav – is a year younger according to his nomination papers.
Tejaswi on his part maintains that he has written his correct age in the nomination papers as he has just furnished details as mentioned in his voter id.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has said it will take appropriate action after a thorough check of the nomination papers even as it has issued advisories to all political leaders to maintain restraint while making political speeches.
