Raising the ‘Jungle Raj’ pitch, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that Lalu Prasad will “remote control” the affairs in Bihar and “kidnapping” will be the only industry that will flourish if the grand alliance comes to power.
Addressing election meetings in Sasaram and Aurangabad ahead of the Bihar polls starting on October 12, Modi also attacked Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad and Sonia Gandhi for not giving an account of their performance of their 60 years rule in the state and said they have nothing else to speak except abuse him during campaigning.
Prime Minister Narendra modi exhorted Bihar’s youth on Friday to change the state’s destiny. He said that the election results this year would determine where Bihar stood in the 21st century.
For the second day in a row Prime Minister Narendra modi campaigned in Bihar in Sasaram and Aurangabad, Both rallies saw Nitish and Lalu under heavy fire.
With Lalu Yadav as the prime target the Prime Minister said that these elections were meant for the people, whom he termed ‘the Supreme court’, to punish those guilty of destroying their state.
Indirectly referring to the corruption charges against Lalu he questioned why he had been barred from contesting the polls by the SC.
Raising the issue of the deteriorating law and order situation in the state he asked how the common man could be safe in a state where the Police itself was in danger.
In Aurangabad the underlying theme of the Pm’s speech was development, stressing on the need to transform Jungle raj to vikas raj the Pm drove home the reckless misuse of power by previous govt which had nothing to show for all the years they had ruled.
PM Modi said that Lalu would run the govt via remote control if the mahagathbandhan came to power. CM Nitish Kumar was lambasted for unseating a dalit son for personal gain. The CM was also attacked for joining hands with Lalu whose govt he had himself once termed Jungle raj.
Hitting out at the Congress Narendra Modi mocked said it had been reduced from 440 seats to just 40.
He guaranteed 24 hours electricity supply to the people of Bihar if the NDA came to power.
With just two days before campaigning for the first phase ends, the BJP led by Prime Minister Modi is going all out to win the hearts of the electorate here.
