All 10 people on-board were killed in a BSF Superking Aircraft crash. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Delhi at Bagdola Village in Sector 8, Dwarka.
The recovered bodies have been taken to Hospital for post mortem. Confirming killing of al 10 persons on board, MoS Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma said that an inquiry has also been ordered.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
Delhi LG Najeeb Jung is also reaching the crash site in Dwarka.
The BSF Superking aircraft was carrying paramilitary technicians.The flight hit a wall at Bagdola village in Dwarka, about 5 km from the Delhi airport, as soon as it took off.
It lost contact with ground control five minutes after take off and crashed around 9:55. The reason is still not clear.
10 BSF personnel from crash site have been identified as Inspector SN Sharma, SI Chotte Lal, SI Ravindra Kumar, SI Sunder Singh, ASI DP Chouhan, CT K Rawat, RP Yadav, Pilot Rajesh Shivrain, Pilot BP Bhatt, Dy Commandant D Kumar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the death of 10 BSF personnel in the plane crash in Delhi.
