By Madhup. 28th Oct: The most awaited musical extravaganza of the Television industry has finally concluded with a nail biting, nerve – racking finish. Among the three finalist – Hemant Brijwasi from Mathura  was declared as the L’il Champ by millions of viewers across the globe. In addition to a gold medal and a trophy, he even gets a Sony Bravia LCD TV. All the three finalists were also given bikes from Hero Honda. People from the various regions voted for all these 3 contestants Hemant Yatharth & Shreyasi.
Hemant Brijwasi bags Lil champs title with 15,35,380 votes where as Yatharth got 15 lakh votes & Shreyasi got 11,38,383 votes.

There was a tremendous sense of euphoria during the mega event which went Live from Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai in front of an over 40,000 crowd. The three finalists – Hemant Brijwasi, Yatharth Rastogi and Shreyasi Bhattacharya, after a four month grueling session fought their last battle to outwit each other tonight. This momentous event was attended by not only dignitaries from the film, television and political world but was also graced by superstar Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and the gorgeous Asin. The cast of London Dreams along with producer Vipul Shah felicitated some of the wonder kids of the contest.

Asin gave a special prize to the young singer from Bikaner, Priyanka, who braved all odds to reach this stage. Hosts Afsha and Dhairya were given prizes by Actor Salman Khan. The youngest participant Swarit Shukl was also given a special prize by Ajay devgan.

A special mention must be made of a special delegate from Guyana Mr Manzoor Nadir, Minister of Labour, Human Services and Social Security, who especially wanted to be a part of L’il Champs as the show is extremely popular in Guyana.

The show was viewed by many Bollywood singers — to name a few Bhappi Da, Peenaz Masani, Aadesh Srivastava, Leslie Lewis. Stars of the small screen also graced the occasion.
