Kimberly Rowe interaction with budding actor Kevin Muthu
Q: Introduce yourself stating information such as name, age, height, vital stats and city.
Ans : My name is Kevin Muthu and I am from Chennai. By nationality, I am an Indian. I am 16 years of age and my height is 174 centimetres.
Q : How would you describe yourself?
Ans : I am a fitness freak! My love for athletics knows no bounds. Along with this, I also crave to have fun in life. I am short-tempered at times but I am working on controlling it and being a more peaceful person.
Q : What is your nutrition regimen?
Ans : I believe in eating lots of salad preparations before an upcoming event or competition so that I can be well prepared health wise.
Q : How often do you visit the gym and what do you focus on practising to stay fit?
Ans : I visit the gym once a month at least. Since lifting weights does not help in boxing, I try to focus mainly on stamina building for now. To stay fit, I also do running and boxing exercises.
Q : What’s your style quotient? Do you think there’s a defining look this season?
Ans : According to me, the hairstyle of a person matters a lot. If your hair starts falling at a young age, you will have to bid adieu to your acting career ahead.
The feathered haircut popular in the 80’s is on a roundabout as it once more becomes the most popular haircut in 2011 and I feel this haircut is the defining look this season for men and women alike.
Q : What makes you want to be an actor? Why are you interested in this career?
Ans : To me, acting is a whole new, different world. It’s like my second life which God has blessed me with. Not many people get the chance to act in advertisements, serials or movies and live their dream. Some people act in movies for fame and riches. However, only a few actors act in movies out of true love and passion for acting and I’d like to be one of them. Kamal Hassan, my inspiration – is one of the few who belong to the latter category of actors mentioned above.
P.S. Driving cool cars, saving hot girls and drinking martinis isn’t really possible in real life.
Q : Are you a fresher or an experienced actor? If a fresher, how do you plan to become a successful actor? If experienced, what are your achievements in the industry till date?
Ans : I’m a fresher as of now as so far I have acted only in 1 short film.
Let’s say if you have a lot of money and you know some particularly influential persons in the acting industry, it’s much easier to get a foothold in this industry.
Q : Who is your role model in the industry and Why?
Ans : I have a lot of role models in the acting industry – Junior NTR in Telugu films, though huge possesses the confidence and passion needed for films which has made him a successful star in the Tollywood industry. Salman Khan in Bollywood, though above 40 years of age still has a love for films which has made him the top Khan in Bollywood. Last but not the least – Rajnikanth who every tamilian is proud of! He’s still got the fire burning in him which has taken him to marvellous heights and made him the 2nd highest earning actor in Asia.
Q : What do you think is the future of the acting industry?
Ans : In one word – AVATAR! That is the future of cinema.
Q : Do you think modeling agencies and models will be marketing themselves strictly over the net in the future? If yes, how successful do you think casting done through these sites will be?
Ans : Internet is the future of everything. It would be pretty useful for upcoming models as well as actors, both experienced and fresher’s to market themselves and hence, agencies too will be benefitted as they can get appropriate casting done successfully!
