BCM Faculty had a gala time enjoying ‘Teej Celebration’ in the school premises. The function was well organized by the Punjabi department highlighting Punjabi culture. The teachers were attired in typical Punjabi costumes. The school principal Dr. Vandna Shahi and the other esteemed guests were brought to the pandal traditionally with the Punjabi folk beats. The stage was set ablaze with Giddha performance and Miss Teej Competition. The contestants were adjudged on the basis of their knowledge of Punjabi culture. Ms. Ranju Dhillon was declared Miss Teej. Ms. Dupinder and Ms. Liza were the 1st and 2nd runner ups respectively. Despite the fun and frolic, the skit with a message to love and respect a girl child was very touching. The winners were felicitated with trophies. The function concluded with a sumptuous lunch. The School Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi remarked that such celebrations act as stress busters for the teachers and provide them an opportunity to expose their talent.
